Staff Training will be offered this year at times and places to be announced. You will be required to attend one session. The minimum age for staff at Camp Ne-O-Tez is 15 years of age as of June 15th (14 years old for dishwashers/kitchen staff). Counselors are to be at least 2 years older than their campers. I realize that leaders are uniquely influential as they work with children at Ne-O-Tez. I recognize this position of influence should not be taken lightly. I will remember and be aware of the impact of my actions and behave accordingly. I recognize that staff who abuse their role as leaders, consciously or not, can damage individuals and the environment that Ne-O-Tez is attempting to establish. I will remember that I am at Camp Ne-O-Tez to serve God by giving myself fully to the campers. Any relationships that prevent me from serving the best I can will not be pursued while serving as a staff member. I also realize I am expected to use my influence in a way to positively influence the campers and the camp environment for Christ.
